Taco Soup
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef, cooked and drained
2 cans pinto beans
1 can black beans
1 can shoepeg corn
2 cans Rotel diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 package taco seasoning
1 package ranch seasoning
2 cans water
Optional toppings:
sour cream
shredded Mexican blend cheese
corn chips
Add everything to the crockpot and cook on low all day.
NOTE: Most people use 1 can pintos, black beans, and kidney beans each. My husband and I don't care for kidney beans so I substituted the 2nd can of pintos in its place. Feel free to go with the kidney beans instead.
Taco Soup
Everyone I know makes taco soup. In case you're not already on the bandwagon here's an invitation to come aboard.
This is so good in the colder months and so stinkin' easy there's no reason you shouldn't be making it.
